Systemix is the Systems Club at IIFT. It aims to provide a platform where prospective young managers will gain experience with real-life issues and problems in the field of Systems.
Objectives
Systemix works towards the mission of equipping students with the latest technical knowledge and making them competitive enough to face the changed business scenario with the advancement in technology.
Systemix is hub that provides for and enables all the students the chance to strengthen their knowledge about the managerial perspectives of IT and Telecom.
Activities
Club Meetings: Meetings acts as a forum for idea generation, simulation games, and live case studies in the domain of Systems. The motto is to promote creativity and thinking among members with consistent updating on recent developments in IT
Symposiums: The club organized a national level IT symposium on “Aiming global business: IT/ITES Industry’s new priorities new realities” in the month of August 2006. The seminar was a huge success, drawing participants from B-Schools, the corporate sector and Software Industry. The interaction with the high profile speakers ranging from NASSCOM Head & VP to Chairmen and CEO’ s of IT giants proved to be a great learning experience for the audience. Even last year a session was allocated in the National consulting Symposium on “Software-as-a-Service (Saas)”, which attracted a huge attention from the audience.
Workshops: Workshops are designed to provide hands-on experience regarding various databases, software packages and other utility tools such that students can effectively utilise them and come out with analysis and reports of high quality. Besides that high profile speakers from IT industry are called upon to dissipate valuable insights on concurrent issues among the batch.
