Enhancing Employability Skills in an International Context in the financial service sector, this project aims at promoting better understanding of the context and impact of financial services in UK and India; understanding the niche business areas that develop as a result of this impact; understanding the areas that can be met by mutual expertise; establish commonality in regard to employability skills in an international context and develop courses and training material to be delivered jointly that address identified employability skills.

  City College Financial Services Course 4th March – 13th March 2007 For Indian Institute of Foreign Trade
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963 by the Government of India as an autonomous organization to help professionalize the country’s foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources; generating, analyzing and disseminating data; and conducting research. The Institute was granted the status of Deemed University in May 2002 by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
City College, Norwich is a large, well established College of further and higher education based in the city of Norwich. The College operates most of our services from a single site campus close to the city centre. We also have outreach centre situated across the country. City College offers a balance portfolio of academic and vocational provision across a wide range of subjects and curriculum areas. We currently provide programmes in 13 of the 14 Learning and Skills Council's (LSC) areas of learning.
Tower Hamlets College offers a vast range of courses at our East London College in the UK. This college is situated in Poplar in the East End of London very close to Canary Wharf. It offers further education college courses and sixth form college courses, full time and part time courses, daytime and evening courses to both young people and adult learners. In addition it offers professional training programmes including work based training and individual business advice.
