Research Projects

The Centre is currently engaged in research in four areas:
 Intellectual Property Rights
 Services
 Agriculture
 Industry-specific implications of WTO Agreements

The last mentioned area has been included following a specific request from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) to undertake work on specific issues that arise in the context of the engagement of the Indian automobile industry in the WTO-related processes.

Besides these, the Centre has undertaken a study at the request of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, which pertains to the examination of Article 39.3 of the TRIPS Agreement.

The Centre proposes to take up work on two more areas, namely:
 Agreements on SPS and TBT
 Technology Transfer
